PERFORMANCE FOCUSED LEADERSHIP

Overview:

This program is designed as an advanced interactive, hands-on learning experience replete with role-play, exercises, and stimulating discussions centred around the following topics:

  • LEADERSHIP AND INFLUENCE

    Understand what "leadership" really means, Explore transformational leadership; Learn how to adapt your leadership style; Interpret the elements of situational leadership and the efficacy of different leadership styles; Deliberate on the Kouzes and Posner application of the Hersey-Blanchard model; Study the concept of personal inventory; Learn how to inspire a shared vision ,and enable/model the way upwards for others.

  • CREATIVE PROBLEM SOLVING

    Evaluate the creative problem solving process; Explore the use of different problem definition tools to arrive at concrete problem statements; Analyze different idea generating tools - affinity diagrams, word chaining, the box method, the six thinking hats, and the blink method; Learn to evaluate potential solutions against criteria, including cost/benefit analysis and group voting and how to perform a final analysis to select a solution; Explore the role of fact and intuition in problem solving ; Understand the ramifications of the solution implementation process.

Diana is an accomplished speaker, trainer, facilitator and program evaluator with a primary focus on self-actualisation, fulfilment and leadership. She has facilitated numerous meetings to obtain agreements, decisions, plans, and solutions. Diana has garnered her expertise from twenty-two years of working experience in large organisations and corporations in Canada and the Caribbean Islands. Her workshops and facilitations have helped leaders in various capacities worldwide. She has published several articles on private life upliftment and effective communication and leadership skills.

Her areas of expertise include Training Design, Delivery and Facilitation; Performance Consulting; Program Design and Evaluation, Policy evaluation and implementation; Needs Assessment & Training Metrics; Impression Management.

Currently, Diana is the Managing Partner at Seablunith Canada Inc. She is happily married and lives with her husband, Joshua in the city of Whitby, Ontario.
